100 Foot Media Wrap and Other Distortions, initially conceived in response to the FCC hearings on privatizing air space, transformed to explore physical devices (the TV-box) consumers interact with to obtain broadcast and print media. In this piece I resort to creating my own filters to manipulate privately controlled information sources.
The dual monitor piece with viewer activated on/off knob incorporates the mechanical, celluloid, digital, video, ink on paper, and broadcast technologies in one fast-paced video montage. Media Wrap is constructed to show in various formats, as a dual wall projection or as a dual monitor wall piece.
